Bin Laden Son Sues U.S. For Father's "Wrongful Death"
Bondi will give case "serious consideration"
Abdallah bin Osama bin Mohammed bin 'Awad bin Laden, the oldest son of 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden, has filed suit against the US government for what he alleges was the “wrongful death” of his father at the hands of what he says was “the jackbooted thugs of SEAL Team Six.”
The suit follows two controversial lawsuits against the government:
In May, the Trump administration agreed to pay $5 million to the family of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed by a Capitol police officer while breaching the US Congress on January 6, 2021.
In June, five leaders of the Proud Boys convicted of spearheading the Jan. 6 attack filed a $100 million suit in federal court against the government for allegedly violating their constitutional rights.
The bin Laden suit seeks $500 million for what it calls “careless, negligent, and reckless actions by U.S. Navy SEAL Team Six and then President Barack Obama.”
It accuses the government of “harassing Osama bin Laden for nearly 10 years, sending armed military personnel to assault him, and fatally shooting him without cause or evidence, then disposing of his body at sea without the customary rituals prescribed by the Quran. This has caused unbearable pain and suffering by all of his 1,595 descendants.”
Judge Aileen Cannon of United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, who presided over the court filing, fast tracked the case to ensure that it is processed and adjudicated as quickly as possible.
“This is a serious matter,” she wrote in her opinion, “and awards to the aggrieved parties should be made as soon as is practicable.”
Attorney General Pam Bondi assured the public that “justice will be served” in the case. “As we know,” she said at a hastily called media event, “So-called President Obama was less than candid about where he himself was born and what religion he practiced.”
“His behavior casts considerable doubt about whether he had sufficient evidence to pursue Allamah freedom fighter Osama bin Laden and probable cause to order his death.”
Asked whether she thought Osama bin Laden was, in fact, responsible for the attacks of 9/11 and the deaths of more than 3,000 people, Bondi replied, “Some say he was. And some say he wasn’t. All I know is that no libtards can be trusted.”
Immediately after the media event, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer announced that he was sending “an extremely strongly-worded letter” to Bondi.
They DID label it satire and a good run up too! 🤣🤣
At this point there is very little difference between satire and reality
